In this workshop, Evelyn will explain and guide you in theory and practice through the fundamentals of the Level 2 Yoga Flow and the Level 3 Vinyasa class. As a foundation, you will learn about the importance of the breath, the gaze point and the correct engagement and release of muscles. On a practical level, we will focus on the postures that are part of the sun salutation sequence as well as fundamental standing and seated postures, and providing modified options as helpful stepping stones. Evelyn will also touch on common mistakes and how to avoid injuries and will show warm-up exercises and how to safely strengthen wrists, shoulders and back.
