Guided Self Practice Workshop

Adelaide, take the next steps in your yoga practice!

Those who participated in our “40-Day Yoga Immersion” will recount the profound changes that a Guided Self Practice can bring to your asana, mediation and pranayama practice.  Those of you new to the concept of a Guided Self Practice:  A 2-hour time slot is set aside where one or two teachers (depending on the size of the class) will help, adjust and guide each student as they move individually and according to their own breath through a set sequence (similar to the current Vinyasa sequence).  Every student is practicing according to their own abilities and the teacher will add or modify postures to allow the student to go deeper over time.  You don’t have to stay for 2 hours but can make your practice the length that works for you.

This workshop sets the foundation for the following once-a-week Guided Self Practice Yoga class.  If you are interested in attending this class (or are just curious), this workshop is for you!  It will give you the foundations of the asana practice (we will practice the full sequence), explain the benefits of this type of yoga practice, general etiquette and a summary of practices (chants, meditation, etc.) that we will include in our class routine.
